When the water drowned in itself
it created earth

when the earth collapsed
under its own weight
the diamond was created

when the diamond started to turn
light was attracted to it and when it arrived
it split into colors and glittering glow

that rainbow was preserved
in drops of water and
they invented grass

and for the brilliance of the leaves
trees were added and of course
trees can’t live without birds

for example the three yelling hawks out there
who take themselves up to the clouds
and so there are clouds

and the seagulls
turn the water into the sea
and so on an on

can you follow?

Somewhere between all that turmoil
must have been hidden a human being
I was not able to find out for what reason
I was not able to find anything
that remained

but a voice

and a few words

and smog from burnt plastic

(easy come easy go
you might say)

so you can see
seeing creates the eye
now let the sun come up and the stars
and put them where they belong

in advance nobody could have thought of
something like this world
never anyone could have ever imagined
not in their wildest dreams
that everything would be
the way it is.

and creation is not finished
in the amazon jungle they recently
found a singing ape a small creature
looking like a teddybear

and while the monkeys sing they
hold each other hugging
hugging and singing
oh happy apes oh happy apes
singing and hugging

nevertheless biologists declare
that the singing is just a matter of
protecting their territory
(so much for the academic version of things)
they will go on singing and hugging
as long as we let them live
and as long as it lasts
the song will create other singers
and perhaps trees and sweet fruit
and sunshine and rain

and in any case the water will remember
and start all over if necessary

perhaps next time
without
those scientist.
